The historic Starrett-Lehigh Building on the west side of Manhattan hosts a number of design-oriented events. Shoppe Object is easily the largest show for tabletop, homewares, and fragrance, with over 850 vendors and makers at the show. Walking the aisles this year revealed a clear cross-section of where the category is headed: brands turning textile waste into joyful knit accessories, analog materials like glass being reimagined through contemporary craft, small sensory objects designed to bring moments of calm into daily life, and stationery and home accents that blur the line between functional tool and collectible art piece. Come with us as we share our favorite booths from 2026.
Verloop
Bright, colorful, and full of life, Verloop began with the premise: how can we be in the business of making while tackling the problem of textile waste? The brand collects deadstock yarns meant for the landfill and transforms them into socks, scarves, and pillows, lending a second life to fiber that doesn’t quite fit into our current consumer culture. Verloop is making the change to sustainability at the start, one stitch at a time.
Relaxound
Stressed? Relaxound has got you covered. These smart little boxes house a remarkably bright speaker system that plays preprogrammed soundtracks including birdsong, babbling brooks, and crickets. A simple and unobtrusive way to bring the outside in, each Relaxound speaker includes a sensor so it goes off when you’re around, and saves power when you’re not.
Japanese Winter by Yakush
Glass is an ancient material that curiously has not had many updates to its production process since its inception some thousands of years ago. Yakush expertly blends old processes with new forms, fins extending out from vessels, and bubbles of creation encased within.
Numbers by Mud Australia
These happy numbers from Mud Australia signal more than just part of the block. Bold, bubbly, and coming in quite a large range of colors—as well as two sizes—your signature personality and style can be reflected from the inside out.
Tyler Barry Design
A satisfying heft completes this collection from Tyler Barry, who started his glassblowing career at the age of seven. Continuing that legacy with over 25 years of experience, he leverages skill, style, and a strong sense of ergonomics to create vases, decanters, and other home accessories.
Tulip Pad by Moglea
Moglea is a brand that we love, not only for their commitment to originality, but to sustainability as well. Their handy Slim Pads—originally born from offcuts produced in the printing process—are perfect for taking down notes, to-do lists, or doodles. These pads feature a one-of-a-kind swirl painted gummed edge, making every pad a work of art.
Fire Rabbit Candles
Last, but certainly not least, Fire Rabbit was born out of collaboration and resilience creating bespoke candles and home decor. Founded in 2023 in Kyiv, Ukraine, their founder Vita had been working to provide employment and housing for those displaced by war. More than providing the material realities of life, Fire Rabbit creates purpose and artistic expression for those who are made to feel they don’t have a voice.
