The Harmoni Guitar From Openhagen Taps in to Our Need to Riff

Music is synonymous with the human experience, one of the many facets of civilization that brought our ancestors together. Harmoni’s solid mahogany body is hand-tuned by expert Danish luthiers, who are trained in the art of forming tone. A rosewood fretboard and D’Addario strings deliver crisp attack and smooth sustain, creating a warm contrast to the mahogany.

From the largest pieces of offcuts, a slim but substantial guitar stand emerges, forming an almost trompe l’oeil vase when not in use. A Nordic horse, carved from the leftover pieces from fashioning the neck, take new life as an included capo, giving the fingers a bit of a rest. From the cutout of the center, a coaster takes new life, bringing a touch of the guitar outside the body, allowing an extension of play. These three products give new life to remnants, prompting us all to rethink the way we discard.

Since the stand is included, Harmoni is always at an arm’s reach, always handy for a quick jam sesh, or just some light noodling. The stand is magnetic, with small magnets inset on the inside of the guitar, for seamless transition between standing and playing.
