CDW + Design Milk Celebrate the Disruptors, Dreamers, Doers of Design

Part exhibition, part festival, pure design joy.

A group of people sits and listens to a panel discussion in a brightly decorated room with "Conversations at Clerkenwell" and CDW Awards displayed on the wall.

We’re excited to share that Design Milk is officially partnering with Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) for the 2026 CDW Awards, marking the next chapter in a program built to spotlight what’s truly shaping the future of design.

A large, translucent, honeycomb-patterned sculptural wall—reminiscent of CDW Awards installations—stands on a black base under a stone archway with brick walls and arched wooden doors in the background.

A group of people sit and stand along a cobblestone path enclosed by translucent, textured panels under a vaulted archway, listening to a speaker during the CDW Awards.

Following a strong debut in 2025, the CDW Awards return as part of Clerkenwell Design Week, celebrating standout products across the interiors landscape and, for the first time, the people behind them. This expansion reflects something we deeply: great design doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s driven by individuals, teams, and ideas that challenge conventions and move the industry forward.

A woman stands and speaks onstage at a “Design Dialogues” event, with seated audience members listening in a room adorned with large art displays, branded banners, and highlights from the CDW Awards.

A group of people sit facing a large illuminated sign that reads "Design Dialogues by Sandow Design Group," with CDW Awards sponsor logos above and a pink geometric background.
As presenting partner, Design Milk brings a global lens to the awards, championing emerging voices, independent makers, and ethical, future-focused thinking. Together with CDW, we’re shaping an awards program that feels more inclusive, more human, and more reflective of how design is actually made today.

The CDW Awards continue to recognize newly launched and upcoming products – from furniture and lighting to materials and interior solutions – while the new people-focused categories honor creativity, leadership, and impact across the design industry. It’s about celebrating innovation and the disruptors who make it possible, all within one of the world’s most dynamic design festivals.

Eight framed geometric tile patterns in various colors and designs are displayed on a metal rack against a stone wall, highlighting the artistry recognized by CDW Awards with a plaque in the background.

People sit and converse on colorful sofas in a stylish lounge area set inside a large, historic church with high ceilings and stained glass windows—a unique venue for the CDW Awards.

A DJ wearing headphones operates a mixing console in front of a pipe organ inside a building with stone walls and large windows, setting the stage for an unforgettable CDW Awards celebration.

Submissions for the 2026 CDW Awards are now open, with an early bird deadline on February 13, 2026. Finalists and winners will be announced during Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, where design takes over the neighborhood and ideas take center stage.

A round, modern lounge chair with a built-in desk sits on a pale yellow platform beneath a fluffy, cloud-shaped light fixture, set against a brick wall and pastel backdrop—an inspiring scene reminiscent of the CDW Awards.

We can’t wait to help shine a brighter spotlight on the work and the people pushing design forward!
